What are you reaching for?

What are you reaching for? Is it a new future or are you looking to hold onto the past, like Lot’s wife? We all know Lot’s wife turned into a pillar of salt. Not the best ending!

Until you see that what you are reaching for is more valuable than which you are letting go, you will not change permanently.
I am in the midst of another transition. I am relaunching my business Emerging Futures. This means letting go of personal activities in favor of putting my energy into my current and future clients. Is it worth it? Absolutely!
I moved to Florida less than a year ago. This has been a challenging and exciting year. I do miss my friends, neighbors, and colleagues in Virginia. Am I excited about my new life? Inequivalently Yes! The transition has not always been easy. But I press on for the joy set before me. I made the choice that my new life and business are worth the effort, money, and time.
What changes can you make today to change the trajectory of your future? It could be a small or huge change. You can choose a new future for yourself. Make the change so you don’t become a pillar of salt. I think the world we live in has changed permanently. What changes do you need to activate to make it a better place? Then go for it!
